WHAT IS SIZE PROZESS®?

SIZE PROZESS® is an independent, integrative model of personality, communication, and collaboration. It helps people better understand themselves and others while fostering greater awareness of personality, relationships, communication, and teamwork.

The central question is not:

"What personality type am I?"

Instead, the model explores the following questions:

  • "How is my personality structured?"
  • "How has it developed?"
  • "What shapes my thinking, feelings, behaviour, personal ways of interpreting reality, relationship expectations, and my patterns of contact, communication, and interaction?"
     

Personality as a Dynamic SELF-SYSTEM


The SIZE PROZESS® Model does not view personality as a fixed typology or simply as a collection of individual traits. Instead, it understands personality as a dynamic SELF-SYSTEM.

Every person possesses all six personality styles. Together they form an individual's unique personality structure and continuously interact with one another, with the person's psychological core needs, previous life experiences, and the demands of the social environment.

Depending on a person's current life phase, the associated psychological core needs, as well as their roles, relationships, and environmental demands, different personality styles become more or less prominent. Personality is therefore understood not as something static, but as a dynamic system that continues to develop throughout life and expresses itself differently across everyday situations.
 

What Does the SIZE PROZESS® Model Reveal?

The SIZE PROZESS® Model examines personality from several interconnected perspectives. It provides insight into

  • how an individual's personality structure is composed,
  • which survival and performance styles shape the person's core personality,
  • how personality is expressed through thinking, feeling, behaviour, personal ways of interpreting reality, relationship expectations, and patterns of contact, communication, and interaction,
  • which psychological core needs and developmental themes are currently most relevant,
  • which strengths, resources, and developmental potential are available, and
  • how people typically respond under pressure and stress.

This creates a holistic understanding of personality that not only describes who people are, but also explains how their personality has developed and how it influences their everyday lives.

Many personality models primarily describe personality traits, preferences, or typical patterns of behaviour.

The SIZE PROZESS® Model goes one step further. It integrates personality structure, personality development, psychological core needs, survival and performance styles, personal ways of interpreting reality, relationship expectations, and patterns of contact, communication, and interaction into one comprehensive systemic model of personality.

As a result, the model not only describes how people are, but also explains why they think, feel, behave, communicate, and build relationships in particular ways, and how their personality develops and expresses itself differently throughout life depending on their current life phase.

The SIZE PROZESS® Model therefore does not ask:

"What personality type am I?"

Instead, it asks:

"How does my personality function as a dynamic SELF-SYSTEM, and how can I use this understanding to support my personal development, my relationships, my communication, and my collaboration with others?"

I have used SIZE PROZESS® methods and concepts in a large EU-funded management development project.
In this project, SIZE PROZESS® fully convinced in the area of individual development advancement in persons. As a lecturer and scientific researcher at the University of Pécs I can confirm both the integrative and systemic effects of the SIZE PROZESS® instruments. The use of a total of 330 personality profiles can become an excellent basis for a future scientific research project.
